Courtney Stredder is a marimbist, percussionist, and educator dedicated to expanding the reach of marimba through cross-genre collaboration, contemporary chamber music, commissions, and community outreach. A graduate of Boston Conservatory at Berklee (MM Marimba Performance), where she studied with Nancy Zeltsman, and Boise State University (BM Percussion Performance), where she studied with Dr. John Baldwin, Courtney has performed as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral percussionist.
Courtney's musical path has taken her to the stage with the 208 Ensemble at Treefort Music Festival, as a soloist with the Charleston Concert Band, and a section percussionist for the Summerville Orchestra. Courtney is an experienced private instructor and arts administrator passionate about mentorship, accessible music education, and fostering meaningful artistic experiences through performance and community engagement.
